Preparing to Send Your Baby 1st Birthday Invitations

After 9 months of nurturing the life growing inside you and 12 months of sleepless nights and countless diaper changes, you are finally celebrating your baby’s first birthday.  It is considered as a major milestone on the life if the baby so it is an important occasion that must be celebrated.  It is also a way of giving thanks for the gift of health that was given to the child.  So it is time to give out 1st birthday invitations.

Planning a birthday party for a 1 year old kid is just like planning for a wedding.  It can be stressful and fun at the same time.  There are many details that have to be considered from the theme, birthday wishes cards, birthday presents, the party bags, the party decorations and much more.  Good baby 1st birthday invitations are such a treat to receive and we cannot deny the fact that even if we have received many 1st birthday invitations before, we still look forward to receiving many more.

Choosing the Right Invitation

After picking the theme for the birthday, it is time to decide on the invitation to be used.  You can choose from the many types of 1st birthday invites that are available.  Go to a professional printer who can show you their available designs.  It can be a simple invite to more elaborate die-cut designs.  If you don’t like the designs the printer has shown, you can search the Internet for ideas on what 1st birthday Invitation card to use instead.  You can show your chosen card design and check with your printer if they can copy it.  For the baby 1st birthday invitations wording, the internet is also a great source for it as well.  Reading the ideas and looking pictures would surely make you go dizzy and be more confused on what to choose.  The trick is to stick to the theme that you chose the moment you decided that you will throw a party for your baby.

When Send it Out?

The 1st birthday invitation cards must be sent at least 3 weeks before the party especially if you have some that will be sent through mail or overnight express.  That way, you will be sure that the invitation reaches your out of town guests and it will give them the chance to arrange for their transportation and accommodations should they decide to attend the party.

Truly, preparing for a 1st birthday party is stressful and will take up a lot of time and use up a lot resources starting with deciding on the layout and design of the 1st birthday invitation to the distributing and sending out.  But when you see the faces of those you invited and seeing the joy of the celebrant, you can say that it was all worth it.
